nope, very simular though. the legs are orange with blue banding, eyes are same though.

the first 1 is a common algae hermit i think, its the other 2 that have stumped me. they are orange with blue banding, and have blue eyes. their claws are a burgandy colour with white tips at the ends..

That is calcinus laevimanus-they get fairly big and can be a bit boisterous but mine have been 'reef' safe-so far. I've had a few over the years and have 2 or 3 at the mo'

fantastic. that's the guys! been looking everywhere to identify them. mine are the size of golf balls, lol. just wanted to ensure they are reef safe after what happened to my fire fish last week.

calcinus.sp tend to get larger than clibanarius.sp, just like humans some are nice and some are not so. Keep an eye on them but in most cases they get a bad reputation for being a scavenger rather than a predator which is unfair.
