Hi Everyone, :)

Just came across this site after receiving a pm from a member from another site!!

Wow...fantastic to see so many reef keepers from Yorkshire (Gods own county)!! ;)

I live a stones throw from Interfish (lucky me) and have known the guys for several years having kept trops for 10 years and Discus for three. Following a house move, i have now just set-up a Percula 90 as my first marine/reef aquaria.

Live rock been in since Tuesday and i am pretty much all set-up raring to go. Test results need to improve a little and they say patience is a reefkeepers best friend so i promise myself i will stick with that policy!! :D

Have done tons of research over the last 6 months and have quite a few books and an unhealthy obsession with collecting Marine World magazines!

Hopefully see some of you guys around and thanks in advance for the many questions that i expect to post! :p

Many Thanks and Best Regards,

Martin

Great to see another newbie who has done trops for years. I am completely new to the whole thing too. I have found this forum amazing for information on those questions you forget until you get home! :p
Very friendly bunch and very helpful too. Welcome to the site Martin.
I will say all the best fish shops seem to be your neck of the woods :D

Thanks Arty! :)

Even though i have done enough research to fill a library (feels like it anyway), i have still approached this whole thing with a sense of excitement and trepidation that i never encountered with Trops...even Discus for that matter.

On the plus side, i will look forward to not having to do 10 gallon water changes a day!! :D

And yep, i really couldn't live in a better place. Even though UK Marines and Animal House have closed recently, Interfish was always my preferred lfs.

Cheers,

Martin

Welcome to you, set-up up my marine tank a couple of months ago, have a similar fish keeping history to yourself. Marines has far more pitfalls but is so much more rewarding. You've come to a good forum:D
