New sump in the making

Right im getting board and need a bigger sump , im one of those guys if it aint broke dont touch itm, well im gona have a play,

this is my sump at the mo

and this is what i intend to do , move cheato and live rock out of the existing sump and put it in a 4x2x2 above, any comments good or bad welcome

Hi Richard. Are you going to run these 2 together or just the 4x2x2 on its own, if on its own it sound ok if running them together you might have a overflow problem ie flooding.HTH. Eric

Thanks Eric, yes running together the top tank will have a stand pipe in on the left and feed by a eheim 1260 so if i lose power the top tank shouldnt drain down, i hope, :)
