well 2 weeks ago i bought some green stars in the shop they looked fantastic.
i took them home and placed them at the bottom of the tank for a few days they never came out so moved them further up to get more light and flow and yet they still havent come out.
i think i have seen about 1 polyp so far.
is the coral still stressed from the move from the lfs to my tank.

Could well be a bit stressed and take time to settle. However, IME they don't like any detritus to settle on them. Might be worth giving it a blast with a turkey baster and clear any debris away. Then leave them in a fairly high flow area and see how they get on.

I have mine near the surface with mod/high flow and they are thriving there. Try that and give it a few days.
Hi Callum,
The little frag I got from Gilly last May took ages to start opening, IIRC it was about 4 or 5 weeks before the first tiny polyps started emerging.
Best to find a spot as Gilly says and leave them be.
