Ok- so i've picked up the live rock from Jay (thanks) and the royal dottyback-bicolour pseudochromis. Now i haven't kept one in 20+ years of marine keeping so before i let it go in my 6x2x30" what's everyones experiences. I don't have any shrimp but have 2 citron gobies, a mandarin, a fairy wrasse, coral beauty, a foxface and 3 large tangs. So any views appreciated.

Hi Neil i have had 2 Royal Grammas and never had any bother with them, mine would hide in a hole in the rock until the food came out then they would be out feeding and away back into the rock when finished. Twiggy

ive always had a royal gramma, always, i love them they are my favorite fish, they are territorial but they act just like a fresh water red tailed black shark, they will chase away any fish near their territory but thats all, basically harmless, however they can look after themselves, very shy and not a whitespot magnet at all as suggested by many marine articles, a fantastic fish.
