Flasher wrasse

I have a flasher wrasse & I think it's female as it doesn't have the spikey fin on the top. Why are these fish jumpers? I was playing on the xbox & heard a splash & it was on the floor. I picked her up & placed her back in & she's totally fine. I like open top style tanks but thinking maybe I should get some perspex to cover most of the opening up.
Another question is do you think Macca can get me more females & a male? They are really entertaining fish & make good dither fish. I like how they go to sleep around the bottom then when they are awake they're very active around the top levels.

Try garden netting-the type they use for growing peas up-to cover your tank top.

I love wrasses but having had a few jumpers I now have glass covers over my tank. Hasn't made any difference at all to the tank/water params, just a bit less evaporation.

my flasher did the same and a banana wrasse do ijust have a cleaner now and ive got covers on my new tank
