Hi all – gosh not been on here for a while – happy new year!!!

Bought my latest family member few weeks ago – a green spoted mandarin (after much searching – most I’d seen were in real bad condition). Anyway … finally found my little monster and off we went home. The first week she spent hidden away with the odd peep here and there (although what didn’t help was Charlie the cowfish’s eyeballs watching her every move!) …. She’s now settled and I must say she is the most beautiful, dainty and prettiest little thing I’ve ever seen … so graceful! Every night she goes back to her original hiding location and curls up on the floor (bizarre) and each morning/tea time she even comes to front of the tank to see whats on offer then races around excitedly sucking up everything …. Ive even been really lucky in that shes eating frozen food! Fingers crossed she stays and ‘big boned’ as she is now

Hmmm well I really dont know to be honest but she looks like a girl so a girl she shall be .... its quite short I suppose ... BUT you may be able to help me ... she keeps putting her fin right up then sticking lips right out ... what is that???

Do they not usually eat frozen food? She seems pretty happy with it haha
