This may sound strange and/or stupid. But having owned my two new Bangaiis for a week the larger more dominant of the two is out and about a lot more. I have noticed that when I look at him from the front his bottom "lip" on his mouth doesn't meet in the middle. It doesn't look infected. Is this a genetic defect, normal, an old scar or infection or something else that I need to watch? I've tried to get a picture but I've had no joy.

In addition to the above, I have now notcied that my other Bangaii has a small white growth/lesion under its bottom lip. Could this be some for of infection attacking the specific area of both of my Bangaiis? My other fish are fine and my Bangaiis are feeding and apart from fighting are otherwise fine. My parameters are zero nitrite 20ppm nitrate, pH 8.2, sal. 1.024, temp. 26-27C. I am feeding them with TMC brine shrimp could this be causing the problem?

Thanks for any feedback
