my chaeto from gilly is going wild and i need to thin it out abit, so if anyone would like some pm me and ill send you some, all i ask is that you send me a sae with a couple of 1st class stamps on a jiffy bag.

unless your around hull and can collect, ill limit it to 10 batches for the time being.

hi mike, my chaeto grows under a compact t5, 55w lit for 12hours off set the tank lights. its growing that fast ive had to add power heads in the sump to get some flow through it. i believe you can use energy saving lamps to grow chaeto.

I've got loads too although I doubt Steve will ever run out now. I actually binned an entire black bin bag full last week and the stuff still fills half my sump. Am trying to grow a couple of different kinds of calurpa as well so might be able to add these into the mix too soon, if I can keep the chaeto from smothering it ;)

By the way my chaeto is under 2x54w T5s and grows like nothing on earth. Overkill I know, but I had them laying around so used them :D
