why not use T-8's, prolly be cheaper initially, and not much difference in running costs.

Here's the updates,of my home made LED boards,as not finished yet,got to got some perspex yet. photos of tank without any lighting and with LED's on,total of 480 whites and 120 blues as of yet,might add some more blues.86398640

which leds have you used, the crees and kr92 leds are very good and can have the same punch as halides if constructed the right way
