Christmas get together?

As we're coming up to the season of good will-would anybody/everybody be interested in having a get together (pub) to meet new faces and catch up with old? I don't mind driving and have 7 seats. With the majority of us being from the north we could find a centralish pub:icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesyg rin: & Macca & Eric could buy us all a beer:eek::eek::eek:

Yes good idea we could all meet up at the Tan Hill pub its nice up there this time of year with a bit of snow it will just be like a winter wonderland. That sounds ok where would we meet as it quite a big area what the forum covers.Twiggy:D:D

seriously, where is this meet likely to happen? and is there a holiday inn or a decent realistically priced hotel near by, and last question, how far approx is it from gloucester? im around 58 miles south of birmingham, also if i drove up and stayed at a hotel for a couple of days, will anyone knock about with me for the day or 2, or is it just a night drink only?

Would be best if we get a show of hands along with there location so we can find a suitable location fairly central to everyone :-)

We can then maybe get a discount from a hotel in the area if a few wanted to stop over ??

is a good 2.5 to 3 hr drive i can get to my sisters in cullompton devon jct 27 m5 in 4 hrs on a good run and im 9 miles from leeds will try get sum prices for you if ya like , would it be for you or your partner also let me know

well it would be nice to actually get to meet the gang, im right by junction 11a on the m5, about 5 mins from it, id love to come up, it would be just me, realistically it might be awkward, it depends on the date really, i can look on the web for accommadation, once the date and venue is confirmed i will honesty look at wether i can make it, id love to
