Hi guys

I am having a downgrade (definatley this time, for those who saw my last thread!!!). It is going to be 3ft length, 2ft high and 2.5ft front to back (approx 90gals) with a 30"x20"x16" (water level 10', approx 20 gals).

System Details

AM Shorty 5000 skimmer (an overkill, but hoping it will help the system)
Tunze nano streams for flow (aiming for around 30 x tank vol per hour)
Deltec KM5000 Calc stirrer
tunze osmolator top up
eheim 1262 return pump
1 x 250w MH
2 x 3ft actinics
45 kgs mature live rock
9"x20" cheato area in sump

And thats all i can think of for now. I pick the tank up in around 2 wks time.

Stocking will be Rics, Zoos, Clams, LPS (more towards the moving kind, ie torch, bubble etc) and SPS towards the top of the tank.

Not decided on fish stocking yet, but planing on a regal angel being the show fish, along with a flame!

Pics to follow!

Cheers

Si

Well, although things are moving a lot slower than first planned, i thought it was time for a bit of an update.

Instead of building a cabinet as originally planned, i have ordered one from the Classic Cabinet Company which should be with me in a week or so.

I have decided against metal halides and i am now going for 4 x 39 w T5's (Deltec Aquablues - seen these tubes at InterFish and they look fantastic!)and 2 x 24w actinic t5's (204w in total).

Pics to follow when the cabinet comes!!!!

Cheers
