what you mean DRIVING you mad,you have to be mad to be a member on here,i love it,but suppose if you got loads of pms it can be annoying.

1. click on your UserCP on the navbar above
2. click on edit your details
3. enable or disable sound notification.

hmm weird... mine is set to YES but i dont get any..
maybe i switched all my sounds off. i usually do but can't remember whether i have or not on this laptop

Thankyou for explaining where the option is. Anyone would expect a private message option to be in the "Messaging & Notification" section, underneath where it says "Private Messaging", along with all the other message options.:DeadHorse:

if you want it off disable at client side. Your side, via your option in your control panel.

It's not only that james, it plays up f*ck with google chrome. Sounds like a cat in a tin sh*t house. Then once that finishes it pops up three error boxes. tried this on three pc's all the same.

I disabled it, and it's still shouting at me when I get a message. What more can I do to stop it when I've done all I can?
