Looks fantastic ...... have fun aquascaping it.
Did you make the stand by yourself ? It looks great
Look forward for the next stages.
Now 2 silly questions -
1- Arent you going to miss the 2 sockets at the back ?
2-Is the tank in front of a radiator ? in one of the pics looks like theres a rad valve at the bottom.
Sorry for being silly ********.
Mike
oooo, keep em comin Eric. Nice 1 :) :)

Thanks for the comments its going to take about 7 to 10 days to cure hopefully, then i am going to fill it with tap water and do a dummy run to see if there is any leaks. The size for those that dont know is 4x4x3 in 15m glass with 2 overflow holes in the base with a weir on the back wall.
I could use the steps as a reef rack as they are the about the right size, LOL. I bought the glass off a glass supplier who builds tank and vivariums, and he agreed under pressure to help build me this one along with my 2 good m8s Derek and Ken who were holding the sheets in place while the glazier and his father in law lifted them into place.
I still have to fix the top braces and the weir in as it was a bit soft to start doing it yesterday, but now its had chance to set a bit its easier to work with. It was touch and go a bit yesterday as the sheets weigh a ton and they were slipping on the silicone, but we finaly got them into place and taped up.
The 2 sockets are still available to use as its off the wall about 6 inch, and the radiater is there to keep the tank warm :) you think i'm joking. My other tank has no heaters in and is sat in front of a radiater and it holds 26 degrees all the year round if it gets warmer the fans come on. I have a massive cast iron stove that runs on solid fuel and is in all the time from October through until April heating my hot water and running my central heating. My house is as warm at night as during the day ,no time clocks switching boilers on and off to bring the heating on its on all the time. Regards Eric PS Will put some more pics up when it gets a bit more finished.

Hi Campbell. Thats the trouble you cant get a true pic of the size of it, it took me 6 hours to fill it with a hosepipe so cant guess how long the RO will take to fill it, i'm glad i am using the water out of the 7x2x2 as well so it wont be to bad. :)Eric

Called on Eric yesterday to have a look at his private ocean. Gob smacked. It looks mightily impressive when empty, let alone when full. I am certainly going to have a look back in a few months. Eric described the aquascape plans to me and I reckon it will be awesome to say the least.
Need to get your seven footer out the way, get some space back in your living room.
