I have always seen the pic you show described as a sea apple....from the infomation i was given at a good lfs the require very good water quality, if not kept in ideal conditions the spit there guts out that are very toxic and easily cause a full tank wipe out.
Although very unusual and colourfull its not something i would consider keeping.
Just my opinion and if its living well in your tank enjoy it.

yes as chris says, they can expell their poisonous intestines as defence mechanism. also require feeding invert food, they are also prone to wandering, sod's law it will be into a powerhead or filter. if you don't fancy giving it a go with it advertise it on here someone may take it off you. any pics of it?

You say 'think' you've got one-i wouldn't have thought you'd get a sea apple as a hitcher so if you didn't buy it-how big is yours? (ooerr missus:eek:) It could be a nudibranch?:D:D
