have you dont anything different? changed phos remover, lights etc?

Have you checked all your water parameters?

Are the shrooms, melting, coming off the rock, shrivelling up?

Have you done a water change lately or is one due?

Hi i havent done any thing different in the last 2 3 years,i change 20% water every fornight. the mushrooms are fine one day then mush the next.they are happy apart from the odd ones dieing. i have been adding more rowa phos the last 2 months due to hair algae. that is when they starting dieing. rowa phos wouldnt kill them would it.the mush rooms dont have algae on them its the star polys.

I belive (my opinion) that shrooms dont like a sudden change in phosphates even if it the lowering of them.

In my experience my shrooms have always done well when there was a hint of phosphates in the water.

This is my opinion and it may go against what we are taught but its my experience.

Hi yes i use a refractometer salinity is 1.024, i think it could be the extra rowa phos ive been putting in recenlty.

To get rid of hair algae you have 2 options, either manual removal while using a phosphate remover or a sea hare while using phosphate remover. If you go for manual removal, then rip it out by hand every time you do a water change making sure you get as much out of the water as you can, it'll help if you turn the powerheads off when doing this. If you go for a sea hare, make sure you notice when it has finished the algae off, as it will starve with no food.
As for pests on the mushies I can't think of any, but if the hair algae is growing near them it will be blocking the light and contributing to their demise. The other thing that mushies are sensitive to is temperature changes, make sure your tank isn't fluctuating more than a couple fo degrees over the course of a day.

Found this 1cm yellowish slug looking thing. Is it this that is killing my Mushrooms and what it is?
Must be bad or my six-line wrasse would have eaten it.
Anyone seen this before? Trying to put photo with this...hope it works
