Im after a black piece of acrylic top shield my skimmer and reef 500 from the light from the other side of my sump i have looked everywhere i can think of but with no luck any ideas ?????????????????????????????????????????

Hi eric im after a peice about 38" long i think and about 22" high i cant remember exact measurments it is jsut to sheild my skimmer from the other side of the sump which i am planning on lighting up i just want to try and sheild my skimmer etc from a direct light as my sump is split straight down the middle reef 500 one side and the light will be on the other , so if i can sheild it in some way that will be cool
Is acrylic easy to cut ?

tHAt sounds good to me thanks eric , i lit up the sump last night it is full of life it has been in the dark for about 3 months now , there was a small purple worm slivering around havent seen him since cant beleive how much life there is in there after 3 months of darkness , must be doing something right :-) .
are you sure you dont need the acrylic ?
dont want you to think in a few weeks arrrrrrrrrr i could have used that for this
