Has anyone had problems with these? i added some critters I got off James and added them to the tank and the wrasse went crazy! trying to attack the hermits & turbos (didnt really get much sucsess though!) and it tried to eat the peppermint shrimp (which now lives in the sump). Makes me think where my cleaner shrimp went:mad:

Sixline wrasse can be very aggressive and territorial. A lot of people have problems with them. They are pod eaters and seem to take an instant dislike to anything that might compete. I can't see him doing any damage to your snails and crabs other than harrass them, not sure about shrimp though. However, with fish it can be another matter. I'd suggest you are very very careful if you add any new fish to your tank.
FWIW, I've had a sixline for a while now and he's as good as gold but is in an aggressive community tank. Again, its the luck of the draw I'm afraid.

Think this guy could be going back to the lfs because there is certain types of shrimp & fish im after and I dont want them dead within a day;) also at the moment the peppermint shrimp cant do its job on aptasia!

Sump the sixline for a few days when introducing any other additions to give them time to settle and you will find the sixline will scoot about as if in a new tank again, works for me ;)
