well as many of you know i have an 8x2x2 reef system and have wanted to go bigger,well 9'10"x4x3 but i have had to knock that one on the head due to the inhibitive costs:frown:,so i happened upon a real bargain of an 8'4"x3x2 with box section stand,two sumps and pipe work for £150:whoo: lol.its been a slow burner due to the job loss/warning incident and me workiing for 24days without a day off:rolleyes: but there is a little progree:eek:,righto the tank as i have now

Pigletlol it was close to being the sump in bits when i collected it,the workshop was packed with tanks and the lad going backwards tripped:eek: my hat goes off to him though he sat on the tank he tripped on and stood back up.he is a big lad tho.6'4" 16stone oh and 16 years old!!!!!!!!!!,well done martin your a legend mate.hope the back is not too sore buddy:o

a few drops of the wallpaper were marked on the roll so i am d rops short to finish:mad: but the wife is trying to use the bits to fill in lol:worship: shes the decorator in the house i hate painting and i am not too handy with the papering(no patience)but it was a good team effort today... bless her.

:mad:well last night i was looking under the tank to make sure the piping was as i wanted and i noticed a 4mm gap between the centre of the tank base and the poly:eek::eek: so i switched off the water and am consulting the experts but i assume the stand top is bowed and i may need to pack the ply upto the tank base:annoyed::annoyed: but im busy all weekend at wharf sooooo its gotta wait till tomorrow night:(

on a very very sad note i found my much loved and impressive copperband dead today:(,i fear the longspined urchin trapped it and suffocated it,it was fat and eating very well,at least 5 years old too,i had it 30+months,i am truly truly gutted,i will admit i shed a tear or two,rip bud you will be missed

right...........ok!!! everyone who has read and commented on this thread please take a number and join the queue:( today whilst tidying my wires for the lighting rig i thought "i will check that the ballasts are up to full them being dim-able and all as if im that dim....":( well i need a slap from the whole r/c community.i had then set at the lowest setting.around 150w.oh and for good measure the ap1004 was running as an ap1003 for the last 2 weeks as i had turned off the pumps to clean them but only turned 3 of the 4 back on.
