New Bulbs

Finally got my D&D T5's installed yesterday... well impressed! Got 3 white and 1 Actinic in there.

Nice looking Luminaire mate! Where did you get it?

LOL... yer it's nice. Rewired it to run 2 bulbs per plug, so i can have them on separate timers, and got rid of the condensation screen as well. Makes a big difference! The corals are loving the new bulbs, I have 1 big mushie you can see in the pic that is at least 1" bigger than it has ever been before, and everything else just looks healthier!

Your corals certainly seem to be enjoying the new bulbs. I've always found D&D T5s seem to give off the most pleasing light. That's what I used when I had T5s on my old 4fter

chris if you go to www.garf.org you will be amazed at the frags they do there i found the site the other night looking to do a few frags myself there is even short video clips everything in ther tank they have fraged on there own let us know how you get on

Hi Chris. I have usually cut a fair sized piece as it goes smaller when cut, then trapped it between 2 pieces of rock and loosely put an elastic band around the rock to hold it in place. HTH. Eric

Glad its made a difference and you got all the bulbs working, corals should go from strength to strength now.
