Hi all,

I am just wondering how best to frag Xenia (Xenia Elongata)

Ordinarily I'd get some decent sized LR rubble in around the Xenia and let it do it's thing but I can't do that at the mo' so was wondering if there any way I can coax it off the rock?

If you get a nail under the root you can peel it off rock (or glass as was my case ;) ) or you can, I believe, cut it with scissors or a scalpel. Then pop it in a fairly low flow area with a small piece of rubble or shell for 24 hours and it'll re-attach. Well that's been my experience anyway.

Thanks Gilly, I'll give the levering a try. Not too keen on hacking at it with knives or scissors.
