ive had a massive issue with light burn,i changed bulbs for 14k marinelux was using there 10k's,i raised them 6" as the 10k were 10months old but its destroyed around 3 salt buckets of sps...it looked like this on the right hand end
http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh207/bodymatt67/bulb003.jpg
ive now rescaped and heres the pics, ive also removed all iffy sps and fragged them in my tank outside....
to aid with flow ive removed montis and others from the tank ends and i now have a 5-6" clearing, also helps with glass cleaning...ive also put the sequence loops on 10second-1 min timers
http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh207/bodymatt67/bg005.jpg
http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh207/bodymatt67/bg007.jpg
most corals are showing polyp extention again, the lights are now 30" above the tank and will be lowered 2" a week ...the sps left that were burnt are rehealling over the damage now..tanks now full of visible milliput:frown:
