has anybody had any experience keeping frogspawn with seahorses and pipefish?
im going to be setting up a tank for them in the near future and wondered if it would be ok to put the frogspwan in with them as its not really suited to my SPS tank.
thanks for any input

IIRC not a good choice for a Seahorse & Pipefish tank, as this coral packs a nasty sting -

I may be wrong - so wait until others chip in.

what tank number 23 coming up
can't see any reason why not as frogspawn don't need a huge amount of flow.
i would try to incorperate something that the seahorses can wrap their tails around instead of using the coral(s)

It's not really advisable to have any corals in a tank with seahorses tbh. Not only because of the corals sting but because seahorses have a prehensile tail which will wrap around anything within reach.

Seahorses have a rough bony skin and eventually will damage corals by constantly wrapping their tail around them. It is a misconception that seahorses need corals such as gorgonians in their tanks as something to hitch onto, but all that will happen is that their tails will eventually wear the skin of the coral away.

About gorgonians-most of them need fast flow, so why have them with seahorses when they don't. It has always baffled me has that.:(
