Forgive me, I dont know what this is so not sure where to post it, but it looks like a coral of the plating monty type but im not 100%. I have re-arranged my main tank and removed some of the grotty and downright embarrasing algae covered rocks that were out of sight originally into a spare tank with an army of clean up crew to polish them up.
The pic isn't great but it is super super (almost blinding) bright red on the outer edges of it, so bright the camera doesn't see it properly, and a deep rippled red in the centre. I havent ever had montys of any sorts in my tank before and these rocks are years old, so thats why im not 100%. Maybe some sort of really good looking algae but I know for sure its not coraline because it is really soft and reacts to touch by rolling up - and no it cant be a mushy as there is no mouth and non of my mushrooms are red in any way. If the pic doesn't show let me know please and i'll post the link.
Thanks for looking
