Hi all, I have a Valentini Saddle pufferfish thats about 7 inches long nose to tail, and over the last couple of weeks i've noticed his teeth are starting to look like he has a set of NHS dentures in, they are getting quite overgrown, not anywhere near the point of not being able to feed, but there big, i've tried feeding him shelled foods like shelled shrimp and prawns but he refuses unless the shell is removed.
Anyone got any ideas before he gets into trouble?

well if i were a choice between eating grapes and having someone peel them for me, i know what i'd chose. i'm sure when it's hungry enough it'll eat food in the shell. if it knows that what isn't eaten is removed and it won't get an easier to eat alternative. try a variety of shellfish.
