bought some blue xena last week, and this is growing at an alarming rate, is it suitable for my softie tank, relying on you experts again

Hi have i stumped the experts does nobody know what it is??
I have been reading about nems could it be??
thalassianthus is one i have read about?? but still need to know do i keep it or not?

Never seen anything like that before. Does it retract if you put your finger near it?

thanks for reply waited all night for response, i dont know about finger near it did a water change didnt seem to bother it when i was moving around tank:grouphug:

Try prodding it. If it retracts if deffo a nem. You know the more I look at it the more I do think I've seen one before. It's not one of the more obvious baddies (I think!) If I found one I think I'd leave it and see what happens. If you want it dead I imagine a quick vinegar injection would kill it anyway.

P.S Word to the wise. I'd stop posting multiple threads, it tends to piss people off. They will respond if they know anything.

Hi Sinaarrgghh,it was not my intention to piss any one off, but as you couldnt find the thread, i assumed nobody else could,didnt know it would be classed as a double post as it was in a different section, thanks for the words of wisdom.
ID ?? will give it a prod later and see what it does, will also try and get a close up pic if i can
