Thanks for the all the great advice you gave me for a goby to go on the bottom of my tank :D I was just wondering if there was an "ideal" goby that works harder than the rest  Thanks again.

all sandsifting gobies will do a job because of the nature of their feeding habits and I don`t think any one in particular does a better sifting job than the others
but unfortunately it can be lucky dip with as to which species will cover your cherished corals in sand and which won`t

The blue cheeked gobys are best avoided, they seem to suffer long term due to lack of pods etc,if you can get one feeding well but most ive seen only seem to get thinner and thinner then perish  but for cleaning gravel they cant be beaten!

Avoid the yellow goby they die of starvation due to lack of natural food in a tank.
I really think that imports of these fish should stop, why import fish all the way off a reef to die in our tanks??

blue cheeks are the messyest

both blue and chalk gobys have a low survival rate but if in a mature system with plenty of pops they shud be fine.

most other sand sifters are fine

but you have to be careful and the stones on the corals trick
