just thought i'd have a mess about with the camera and see if i can get any snaps of my two new editions, a male and female bleeding heart anthias (apparently) the pics don't do the colours justice as they are a salmony pink / red colour. feeding happily and getting along with their tankmates, still a little skittish hence the crap pictures.

i know everyone likes pics on here which is why i posted them. but honestly, the fish are so much nicer in the flesh. they look like squampinis in the photos but they are vivid pinky red. will have a play around with the camera and adjust the white balance, see if i can get some truer pics.

unfortunately the female didn't make it, she may have been spawn bound or had some sort of swim bladder problem as her abdomen swelled up and she became very distressed. male is doing extremely well and feeding like a pig on pellets.
Sorry to hear that peter gutted for you,
Rob.

TBH rob, i was taking a bit of a gamble, this is my last try at anthias after losing the tukas, i thought this would be a similar challenge as they have a similar temperament to tukas. i'm happy that they are easy to feed and may get a couple more if i find any. big "if" tho'.
