Just got a bottle and giving it a try. My SPS are quite light coloured now so just look for a little extra colour especially in the acropora's they are not as colourful as the other SPS.

Just got a bottle and giving it a try. My SPS are quite light coloured now so just look for a little extra colour especially in the acropora's they are not as colourful as the other SPS.

I've been using it and Sponge Power for a couple of months. I started off on a very low dose -1ml for 150 gallons (the bottle says 1ml per 25 gallons) and am still only dosing 3ml. I have noticed that the coloured tips on some acros look brighter and longer, and a couple are colouring up right down the body.

It could also be related to the continued nutrient drop from Zeo use, but the Extra and SP certainly haven't done any harm.

Early days for the xtra for me, added first dose yesterday went for half the stated dose 1ml per 100ltr i am adding 2ml a day to my tank for the first two weeks.

That should be fine, I just like to take things really slowly - it's taken me 2 months to get to half the stated dose :D

I have been on the zeo for 10 month's and started with dosing the full amount and kept cutting back, now on half dose works better and blue bottles last ages :D

Yeah I think the doses on the bottles are too much, I dose nowhere near what they say.

Well three weeks in and I have noticed growth from some Arcos which wasn't growing much already, with new white shoots coming out from the sides which is good.

Strangely the Acros a got it to colour up look about the same but other corals (apart from Acropora) do look more colourful. Not that colour change fast I have have a few that have taken month's to colour up so its very early days but first imprestions are its not snake oil :D

Can you guess which side is before dosing Pohl's Xtra, the left or right? Also which side do you think looks more colourful, the left or right?

i think the right side looks better.

I like the darker right side but I also like the more pastle lighter colour on the left.
