after a nightmare couple of months, im getting back on track....
rocks rearranged, this time in an island in the middle rather than built back to the glass, waiting on the release of the new tunze nano streams before ditching the pheads and adding new sand. keep tinkering with the rocks though before i finally milliput them in position

Are you going to stick with a shallow bed of sand Steve? or are you going for another DSB variant?

thanks for the kind comments, i like the central aquascaping but im on the lookout for the right bits of rock to lift the sides a tad...
Adam, im gonna try the shallow bed in the sump for a while see how it goes, even though the plenum went sour for me, i do like the theory of a dsb system without the plenum.
steve
Nice one Steve, glad you stuck at it. Aquascape looks nice.

I think thats the best place for it TBH.
At least then if it goes sour again in the future, its gonna be hellva lot easier to sort it out.
Aquascape looks great by the way, I'm all for being able to see the rear glass through the rockwork.
