Hi guys got a Orange Bush Coral today can't find any info on them mind has anyone got any pointers on them? Read that they have to be able to get some shade and may need feeding? New to this so not really sure any help would be apprieciated thanks.:icon_rolleyes:

Hi a pic would be good for ID, it sounds like you have bought a Dendro which has to be fed and likes dark places. They can be kept but with a lot of patience and time, then there is no gaurantee it will survive. HTH Twiggy:icon_razz:

:icon_confused: Cheers will move it into a shadier part of the tank will get a pic on here first thing tomoz. Is there any specific stuff for feeding them i know they feed when the lights are off.:icon_eek:

Hi yes the best thng is try and get it in a shaded place and hang it upside down so that it does not flop. Then you can feed it with a baster with phyto and any plancton based food.HTH Twiggy:icon_razz:

Hi yes thats a dendro, try and put it upside down i a darkish area and feed it Phyto through a squirty bottle or baster. HTH Twiggy:icon_razz:

Cheers will move it now and get it upside down and feed it tonight when the lights go off.

Yup. Dendro.

I really wish LFS would stop selling these, The survival rate is stupidly low.

They need a constant addition of phytoplankton and zooplankton to survive.

I hope you succeed with it mate but don't blame yourself if it gets smaller and smaller before withering away as this is usually the case. :icon_sad:

hi yes i have a yellow one in my tank, going to put my upside down to see if its any better.
