my clowns have spawned in my reef tank on a rock which is inhabited by 5 large bubble tip nems, could any one tell me how long they will take to hatch and if i have any chance of saving any of the young??
cheers

give them chance to have a few spawns and they will spawn larger and larger clutches of eggs. to raise them you need to start culturing phytoplankton to feed the rotifers to feed the young clowns. they will hatch in about 10 days. chances are the parents will eat the young they have lovingly nurtured for all that time.

Yeah, you really need to be ready with phyto and rotifers.
If you really want to try to raise them I suggest that you buy Joyce D Wilkinsons clownfish book.
This contains all the information needed.
Of course the members here will be able to help with specific questions but its best to have a grounding so you know what questions to ask.
Maybe this thread can be moved to the new breeding section?
