catching pest crabs,,,,

hi all i have a hairy black crab in my tank with white dots on his joints i think hes a baddie and have borrowed a critter trap from my lfs but tryed it last night with a whole mussel and caught most of my hermet crabs while he walked around the door of the trap,
so for tonight im after ideas on food to go in the trap he will be interested inn

anyone got any ideas ?

secret is to get the trap near his den, the aroma will get him out Im sure.

Hi Dean i have used long thin jars with a piece of string tied around the top, put some bait in and lay at an angle so that they can get in but cant climb out to be very good. You will most likely catch all your hermits but also the baddie. HTH Twiggy:D:D
