Ahem James, I think you need to choose a better picture. You seem to be lost in a whiteout ;)
Ok, I'll get the ball rolling. I'm Gill (or Gilly). Live in Troon, southwest Scotland with my b/f, Ian (who I've been with for 16 years), 9 year old son, Sorley (good Scots name) and 7 year old German Shepherd dog, Moray (cause I like Moray Eels). I work part-time as a Paralegal for a law firm in Glasgow. Aside from family and dog, my passions are keeping fish, sailing and messing about with computers.
We have 3 tanks (at the moment). A 160g mixed reef system, an 11g softy nano and a 7g mantis tank. Love tangs, blennies and gobies so have lots of these in the mixed reef. Feel free to click on the link in my signature for an up to date run down on each of our tanks and also for the latest pictures :D
Think that's pretty much me in a nutshell. What you see is what you get :o
Looking forward to seeing everyone else :D

Ok, My Turn. I'm James (or Macca). Live in Harrogate, Yorkshire with wife, Christine two sons Jay (11) and Andrew (8). Our other household members are my wifes two dogs - boxers “Ranger†and “Roxiâ€Â. Our family cat is Toska! She is wild!!!
Been keeping marine on and off for the past twenty years. I started getting seriously into the hobby around 5 years ago. My job involves importing livestock so I normally have a few animals at home. Currently have a 200+ gallon display tank + 3 * 100 gallon coral tanks. Invert system being currently being overhauled is 12 small 1ft cubes and 6 2ft tanks.
Picture was a proud day when I accomplished my BSc Hons after gaining my Fdsc in Computing 2 years ago.
Other hobbies involve computers, football and outdoor activities (Although I find it hard to get the time). Look forward to some more members’ profiles.
James
Here we go then.
Been keeping marines for over 20 years. I live in Thirsk, married to Sarah, with 2 little ones - Samuel (6) & Eleanor (3).
Hobby wise I am massively passionate about F1 and attend the British Grand Prix each year. I like hill walking / mountaineering. The photo below is taken in my favourite spot, the Cuillin on the Ilse of Skye. I like music, in particular Oasis. I play a little bit of a guitar, and am currently learning some blues stuff by a guy called Robert Johnson from the 1930's.
There's a link to my current little 30+ gallon softie tank below.

I guess its my turn.
Right im Mike or Michael, live in London, have a little 3yrd old girl and another monster on the way due June 17th (or around there).
I have been keeping marine fish from Sept 2006. Never kept any sort of fish before then.
Wow a whole 3 months !!!!! Im still a marine virgin compared to most around here.
Suffered with newbie fish syndrome, now getting better.
I started in marines partialy because of the little monster in the pic. Since watching finding nemo she has loved fishes.
Other hobbies hmmm dont really have any apart from marine fishkeeping, as most of my time is spent with my little one.
Well thats me..... I know I look like a thug or if I paint my head green Shreek.
...... maybe I should change my ID from Pinkfish to Shreek.

Hope this works ok as had to edit the picture. I live just West of Hull with my wife and newly born son (17 days old) and dog. I've kept fish since I was seven years old so that is two decades. I briefly kept a marine nano tank when I was 15, and looking back I did reasonably well. My last fish were discus and following a recent house move I thought I would give marines another go. Enjoying it so far, and great forum! :)

Hi my name is rob , i have been keeping marines for 4 years now started with a cheap 30g tank from pets at home and soent a fortune on it , it was very succesfull then upgraded and now just recently upgraded again all is going well with the tank
a bit about me
Im 28 and i work silly hours , im a chef so the hours are crazy i do find time to be with my wife and little daughter amelia 15 months who runs rings round me when i look after her on my days off from work , as you can imagine being a chef i have to work when you lot are having fun weekends , christmas etc , so getting along to the reef meets are a bit of a pain for me .
i am a confessed marine nutter cant go a day with out logging on here. if you are up at silly oclock you might find me scurrying round the forums when i get in from work . . hopefully when amelia gets a tad older i will be able to bend the wifes arm and get a nano in her room for her to enjoy as she already loves our new tank ,

hey, suppose i'll follow suit and confess all....
I live in Colne in Lancashire, gateway to anywhere, I haven't been keeping marines all that long, was brought up with tropical and had a few koi when i was a kid. after doing 7 a-levels, I went to the Conservatoire in Birmingham and studied classical music performance for 4 years, did a postgrad in education last year and now i'm a Secondary school Music teacher in a school in rochdale. Done the band thing, been signed for 4 years, made CD's, worked with the stars, sacked it after touring too many countries and getting skinted by dirty b*... agents... managers... etc. settled down in a terrace house with my GF for 6 years, its all rosey...

Ah well, spose I had better do the same lol!
Some of you will know me from the thread I started a fair few years ago on another forum (not the darkside one though I might add)
Best pic I could find of me, as I ALWAYS look like a complete T**T in the pics as Suz tends to snap me when I least expect it
Anyhows!
Names Mark, live in Cleethorpes literally a stone throw away from the beach so always within easy collecting reach for when the hermits want some nice new shells lol!
Suz is my lovely wifey, who is originally from Liverpool, but managed to drag her away and have been happily married for a few good years now (Hey im a bloke, so DONT ask the exact amount of years as im not sure lol!)
Got 2 lovely kids, Chris and Louise.
Kept marines for a few years 2 years ago, but in a mad moment decided to sell it off (BIG mistake!) but early this year got a seahorse tank and got bored with it so upgraded SLIGHTLY from a 36x15x18 to a 5x2x2 tank  and got fishies that move in there now unlike the horses lol.
Anyway, enough waffle, heres the best pic of me anywhere lol! (taken last year)

time bomb lmao.
If your not already id keep running carbon on a tank with a larger finger leather as they have good chemical warfare capabilitys.
