hi I have a pair of these and so does oakwell,they really should be in pairs,can I ask how much you paid,also once eaten all asternia what you going to feed it on?

Hey Chris, she’s rearranged the entire taxonomy of decapods so he’s actually a fish now not a shrimp (gotta love a woman’s logic).

Hi Mike, he was on his own in the shop feeding on a Linckia so I was fairly confident he was happy. I‘m not aware of how detrimental having a solitary specimen in a closed system is but if you can point in the direction of the reading I’ll reassess my situation. AFAIK shrimps are more confident in greater numbers but this guy is always out and about during the day. PM me if you would like to know the price, if I can’t mention where I bought him from I’m sure I wouldn’t be allowed to discuss prices. I’m afraid I don’t have a feeding regime in place for when the asterinas have gone so he’s off back to shop, he was purchased for a purpose not decoration. If anyone has a sustainable feeding regime in place I’d love to hear about, the missus would be thrilled to know he was staying.
