Eyeball Inlet & Elbowhttp://www.reefcorals.co.uk/forums/imagehosting/90648c41018e408d.jpg

thinking of using a couple of these to tidy up my return plumming on my new tank from the sump

they need a 45mm hole to go through (which is the same as my drain so i already have the cutter) and attatch to a 1" solvent weld on the other side

at the moment im siding towards using flexi pipe again for the return (just need to source a not return valve for flexi pipe)
my theory here is and someone please tell me if its a good/bad idea, use 2 of these inlets through the back glass T my return line off from the pump feed the 2 eveyballs, which in turn wil make it a neater job and a lot easier on the eye

I will be reducing the pipe on the back of the eyeballs to fit with my return lines what would be the ideal size piping for the below pump bearing in mind it is going to be t'd off to feed to eyeballs

my return pump is a OR 2500 so i figured that if i T it off from just behind the eyeballs level with where the water would be entering back into the tank i wouldnt be lossing any more pumping capacity or head height because the pump wouldnt be pumping 2 sets of plumbing up the tank just the one as it is at the mo

Any other ideas similar to this appreciated as well but i wont be running any sort of closed loop this is just for the sump return
