Which corals??

I've been advised i can keep a few softies in my tank. I currently have an Xenia (which came free on some Live Rock) which is now beginning to grow. I'm thinking something along the lines of mushrooms or leathers....any suggestions??

I do not have Halide lights just the ones that come with an Aqua One tank - think there T8's.

You can keep quite a few different corals under T8s. As you have suggested mushrooms (particularly discosoma sp) and leathers would be fine as would star polyps, clove polyps, gorgonians, chilli corals, sun corals and possibly some zoas if they were high up on the rockwork. I know someone with all these corals in his tank lit with T8s and they are thriving.

There might be more, I'm sure others will chip in with suggestions.

Nice 1 Gilly :) looks like you got most of it covered. Leathers always seem to be the most popular choice.
