I have an unwanted Mantis free to a good home (any home really) else it will end up boiled or fried!

If you dont get a home for it put it in your sump, it will be fine in there if you just drop some food in now an again. Eric

Eric, sorry Im only a novice and don't have a sump- so not an option,
Phil if you know of some one that wants it let me know he/she is still swimming round in a rowphos container at present (will take frozen food by tweezers too). Posting though may not be an option with this cold weather, so would probably suit someone fairly local to me.

Don't boil it! Mantis are a great pet!

I recently set up a 40L nano containing a nano and some other inverts and mantis have such character it would be a shame to get rid of it!

Is there any chance you could set up a tank of 5 gallons (25L) or bigger with a heater, powerhead and some live rock? This would be plenty to keep such a fascinating pet!

I even have some spare tanks/equipment I would sell you very cheap if you cant afford a new tank setup!

My husband would kill me if I even suggested another tank ...no matter how small....we have no more room anyway, my daughter has a marine tank in her room, my son has a tropical in his and I have one in the lounge. But thanks for the suggestion, hoping gillybabe or some one she knows may be interested in it.

Well you must be able to find someone who would have it off you, and if you can't, I may consider a 2nd (although not in the same tank as my one!)
