I have a Black Blennie and an Eibl's Angel.

Don't know how rare they are but I hadn't seen them before I bought them and haven't seen them since either :?

Never heard of the black blennie but the Ebli Angels are common in the fish shops in Leicester about £19 for this species of dwarf angel, I like em.

Ive got a Yellow Tailed Tubelip wrasse (Diproctacanthus xanthurus) and two Jackknife fish (equetus lanceolatus)

I also had an Eibli, not that rare but a lot of people don`t want them because they are very aggresive even for a dwarf angel and are one of the worst coral nippers you can buy apparently but mine died before it had a chance to do any damage,
ive also got a huge black blenny that I inherited from a tank clearance I haven`t seen them for sale anywhere either and I haven`t the first idea what its scientific or common names are so if you find out let me know mate

By rare do you mean rare in the wild?? Or rare to be seen for sale?
ReefCritters do you have any oddball rare ones for sale??

I will need to check my sump.

We get a few inverts that are odd balls! Not sure if they are rare or just not collected. We get many a species of whelk but as the nass is the only reef friendly one I tend to sump them all or give them away. We also get some really cool hermits in from Nicaragua (sp) but we cannot sell them on as cannot guarantee they are reef safe. We sell them to fish only tanks as a clean up crew member. I have some nice golden rope sponges that are certainly not common.

My Eibl is the opposite! It is an extremely shy fish spending most of the day hiding underneath one of my Sarcophyton corals or behind the rocks and only poping out every now and again :-?

Hi

I'm with you Dons!

My eibli is great and has never nipped at corals and is great with my coral beauty 8-)

I think most of the time it depends on the fishes personality.

I have a majestic angel which have been known to pick at polyps, lps and clams

I have had my majestic for around 3 years now and it couldnt be a better reef fish. :-D

Obviously there are no go reef fishes no matter what personlaity they have but i find with dwarf angels and normal angels it's a bit like rolling a dice

Cheers
