Well done there Mike you will be soon known as BFH, Bubbles Fish Hatchery, and as famous as TMC. They look well to say they are only 20 days old m8. Twiggy:D:D

Thanks Eric , it's amazing how much the fry eat , it's hard to keep up with the brine shrimp , i'm just getting them to eat ground dry food so the first lot will be easier :)

Wow amazing pictures, glad to hear all that have survived are doing so well, credit to you.
Are you planning on selling any of the cardinals, as I've just lost mine and would be interested in a pair this time if thats possible?

Hi Mike its good you have got them to this stage as they are not easy to rear, a friend of mine a few years ago spent about 2 years trying to raise them with no success. Well done at least you are saving the wild ones any way, give us some more pics at a later stage. Twiggy:D:D

Thanks again
Andy it will be a while before they are ready to sell on , I'm hoping to get some from my second pair which are unrelated and so mix the gene pool a little rather than allow brother and sister pairing
cheers

Thanks for the interest ,The 15 (now 24days)clowns and 31 bangais are still alive and well , I'm trying to coax them onto dry food but they're not too keen on the idea . Clowns are squabling , great to watch . The second brood (6days old ) number around 40 to 60 and are feedind well on rotifers , I have to say it's very time consuming . Pics at the weekend
Cheers , Mike

15 Clowns(27days) and 31 bangais(14days) doing well , around 50 of the second clown brood have gone through metamorphosis and are feeding on newly hatched brine shrimp. I'm pleased with the improved survival rate ,
Cheers , Mike
