coral beauty

Hiya

We have had a coral beauty for about year now and all was well until yestarday.................my husband noticed it was lying on the gravel on its side, then it got up and swan off:mad:. When i fed them this morning it didnt appear as it usually does (its normally the first out and a bit of a bully)i spotted it behind a coral on its side. At first i thought it was dead, i went near it with the net and it swam off behind the rock. its not breathing rapidly or anything. Anyone got any idea what it could be??

All the other tank mates are fine and all eating!!

Hi if all your other fish are ok it could be a crab or something that as had a go at him in the night, or he might have something wrong with his gut like a parasite or a worm. Keep us informed how he goes on, sorry there is not much you can do but let nature take its course. Twiggy:D

Thanks Andy, but it must have died during the night. When i got up this morning I found the tiger snails and brittle star making the most of it.
Poor thing, I cant believe how far it went. Fine one day ill the next then dead :(
