As title really.
My LFS has got some lovely new nano tanks in, I'm thinking of getting one but just wondering if a seahorse would be a possiblilty (to keep SWMBO happy really:D )
Otherwise its going to ba a mantis shrimp :D

Hi Chris. Yes its possible to keep Seahorses in a nano, as long as you do weeky water changes and run carbon or polyfilter they are fine. Some people say dont use a skimmer as the Seahorses swallow the micro bubbles and blow up and die, we have 3 at Aquarius which has a skimmer running and they have had no problems. Heres a site on them which is full of info www.seahorses.org . HTH Eric

Glad to hear that it's OK, have also seen 2 or 3 horsey set ups in nano's in LFS's, current plan is to set one up shortly (when funds allow and can evict/move on current inhabitants).
