i personally want to keep a moorish idol when i can afford a huge tank that it deserves. i no people say they are hard to look after but i worked at seaquarium and have learnt loads about them.

they are beatiful fish and would love to be the first person to breed them in the home aquarium (we all can dream)

what fish do you really want to keep or have you kept it and it wasnt what u thought it would be

I would love to keep a Regal Tang but the size of my tank won't permit. I would also like to keep a long nose butterfly fish and a flame angel, are these to compatable?? what is the minimum size tank required??

Failing that a barracuda!!

Gem Tang (Zebrasoma gemmatum) really nice fish, bit like a Ferrari says a lot more about the size of your wallet than your taste.

Would also love a matted pair of Addis Butterflies but I dread to think what they’d do to my reef.

Cheers

Would absolutely love a blond naso tang. Nearly bought one too but quite rightly left it in the lfs cause in all honesty my tank is just not big enough for it.

The other fish that I'd always wanted were an orange shoulder tang and emperor angel. Both of which I now have and am very happy too. It is really satisfying looking in the tank and knowing that I have the fish I really wanted.

would love to keep a pair of conspicuous angels and a mate for my moorish idol.moorish idols are difficult to pair up as for the angels a small lottery win might help a little.derek

Not actually a fish, but I'd love to keep a blue ringed octopus or maybe a dwarf squid species.

Perhaps if I filled my cellar with water I could keep a ray! They're just so cool when you're diving.

Would love a tank big enough for a large angel Majestic or Emperor. Absolute beauties!

Would also love a Heteractis Magnifica anemone with a pair of clowns. One of the ultimate marine images!

Not asking too much but several different tangs or possibly batfish, would mean I've been allowed to have my next upgrade:D

Though at the moment likely to be a pair of seahorses in the not to distant future - a much more feasible project and one my daughter would fully approve of.

i keep on thinking of more red faced batfish is so amazing to look at when i first saw it in the book i thought there was something wrong with the printing but it turns out that colour actual does outline there body.

Definitely a Megaladon. The only problem is, I don't think the LFS could supply this creature. :D At 50 foot long it became extinct 16 million years ago. A prehistoric shark. Here's a piccie of its fossilised tooth.

One of these would keep Eric's Tangs in check!

Many years ago my first attempt at marine was a disaster (there were no sites like this then or computers)1978to be exact I had a lion fish that threived while all around floundered I loved that fish but I realised it would end up like the other fish in the tank so I found him a new home and also the other fish a box now i did not find out for years about the toxin it spews so I would like both back to keep the lion and batter the box
